I often describe myself as a Generalist, hands-on Product Marketing Manager. I have a broad profile, but I don’t just develop strategy — I also know how to dive deeply into a problem myself and carry the work through to execution.
Over 15+ years of my career, I’ve worked in communications and advertising, developed and executed GTM strategies, organised business events for 100 people, and done extensive market analysis. This has given me a strong foundation in both the "what and why" – market, users, and product – and the "when and how" – planning and delivering campaigns, choosing channels and messages, creating content, and tracking effectiveness.
I’ve worked both on the client side and on the agency side. From the first, I gained an understanding of the client perspective and the experience of working with one product over the long term; from the second, the ability to get up to speed quickly in a new project and develop a solid understanding of even complex technical products within two weeks.
My consulting experience has also given me broad exposure across markets: 80+ market analyses have taught me to spot patterns faster, compare different market models, and work confidently with customer segmentation.
In marketing, the big picture, logic, and the reasoning behind every action matter to me. Not copy or visuals “because we like them”, but messaging grounded in real market data and the motivations of potential customers. The key theme throughout my career has been turning chaos into structure and looking for causes and connections. And I think this is not just about my career, but about how I think in general. I am a master of plans and frameworks, and if I hadn’t chosen marketing, I would probably have become a diagnostician or a detective.
I live in Oslo and work remotely with clients around the world.
